I graduated early from the University of Wisconsin Law School, receiving the top mark in Judge Charles Dykman’s Wisconsin Negligence course. I also received a scholarship from the Wisconsin Association of Workers Compensation Attorneys and led my fellow law students as a director of a pro bono legal organization and a member of the Christian Legal Society.  My undergraduate degree, also from UW-Madison, graduating in the top 7% of my class is in Computer Engineering with a second major in Computer Science.  I find that having a background as a complex problem solver makes me uniquely suited to tackle your worst legal problems and it is part of why I love to do what I do.. In my spare time, I love traveling with my wife and enjoying the outdoors, including backpacking, golfing and just getting out on the water.  I am also an avid Wisconsin sports fan – whether it’s the Packers, Brewers, Badgers or Bucks.

I followed my father's footsteps into the law.  As both a Lutheran pastor and a state public defender, he taught my sisters and I first-hand the importance of being a person folks can rely on during some of the hardest times of their lives.. Prior to arriving at Marquette Law School, I attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and spent two semesters working as a Parliamentery Special Assistant in the palace of Westminster.. The youngest of four, I was the only one of my siblings born and raised exclusively in Wisconsin, mostly in a small town of Clintonville just West of Green Bay.  I grew up fishing and hunting, and still enjoy those things when I can can get time to do them.  However, I mostly stay in Southeastern Wisconsin now.. Beyond fighting felony cases in state and federal court, filing appeals, and representing parents in custody disputes, I try to spend time traveling with my husband at least a couple times per year.  We also try to see as many Brewers games at Miller Park as time allows.. Attorney Peter Wolff graduated from Marquette University Law School.  His practice focuses on criminal, family, and civil litigation.  Peter regularly accepts appointments in criminal, family and juvenile matters from the Circuit Court Judges of Waukesha County, and he was appointed Special Court Commissioner to the Honorable Mark Gundrum.. Peter grew up in the City of Brookfield, and graduated from Brookfield East High School in 1986.  His father was a police chief for 28 years, then he served eight years as an Alderman, his mother was a Waukesha County Supervisor for twenty years. Peter has two sisters and three brothers.  Peter attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and he received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and a minor in Communications.. For ten years, Peter was a law enforcement officer with the City of Brookfield Police Department.  In addition to his regular patrol duties, Peter was a DARE Instructor, and he was chosen to be an Instructor to teach OWI procedure and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing to other police officers.  Peter also served undercover as a Detective with the Waukesha County Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Unit.. In 2006, Peter was elected as a Supervisor on the Waukesha County Board.  He currently is the Chairman of the Judiciary and Law Enforcement Committee, and he serves as Secretary of the Executive Committee.. Peter’s varied experience makes him an exceptional advocate.  He has good working relationships with the judges and the prosecutors, and he has a reputation for achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients.
