As a city councilmember Ruth actively serves on the following boards: Downtown Association, Tourism Promotion Area, and Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce. She also participates in various other boards and committees, which work on issues in her community. Ruth has previously served on the Wenatchee Community Center Board and the Volunteer Attorney Services Board.
