Salena grew up in Eagan, Minnesota, a suburb of St. Paul. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2009 with a degree in Psychology and minors in Political Science and Spanish. Throughout my education, I have volunteered and worked for domestic abuse shelters, helping women and children go through difficult times in their lives. Mary was born and raised in Cloquet, MN.  She loves the outdoors and has paddled many miles in the BWCA, hiked to the top of Mt. San Jacinto, the second highest peak in Southern California, and hiked a portion of the Appalachian Trail in Virginia.  Besides Minnesota, she has lived in Oregon, California, Montana and Oklahoma.. In her spare time, Mary enjoys walking her mixed breed dogs, working with her husband in their antiques and collectibles business, playing disc golf and reading John Grisham novels.
