Bailey Schmiedeler was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2018 where she majored in Political Science and minored in Philosophy. While at K-State, Bailey served as the Assistant Attorney General of the Student Governing Association, was a member of Chi Omega, and volunteered with local middle school students through YoungLife. Bailey received her Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in 2021. During law school she clerked for a local law firm and interned with the City of Topeka Prosecutors Office. After law school Bailey moved to Wichita where she worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office. During her time at the DA’s office, she prosecuted various traffic and criminal offenses while honing her trial skills. Bailey loves living in Wichita and becoming a part of the legal community. In her free time Bailey enjoys walking her golden retriever, cooking for her friends and family, and spending time with her husband and son.
