My practice exclusively focuses on helping families plan for the future and administering the estates of their loved ones. Unlike other attorneys, who offer estate planning and administration services as part of a general practice or big firm, I have developed the depth of experience and skill that comes with concentrating on one area of the law for decades.. Many clients come to me with complex family arrangements while others have simpler, more traditional needs. I take pride in confidently serving all of them with equal attention.. I charge clients for my services on a flat-fee basis. Other lawyers charge by the hour and have clients who leave their offices feeling unnerved about the ultimate costs of legal services. I believe that uncertainty breeds dissatisfaction.. That is why, after an initial meeting to determine a prospective client's needs, I quote a fee to complete the work that needs to be done. If a prospective client chooses not to proceed, there is no charge for the initial meeting. If a client does ask me to proceed, the client knows exactly how much my services will cost before making a commitment. I charge no additional fees when my clients have additional questions about their estate plans, even years down the road.

I am a lifelong Delaware resident who decided to go into law to help people.  I enjoy the varied practice of law and the personal interaction with my clients.  It also does not hurt to win hard fought cases for my clients.. While I work in an office and the Court, my personal time is spent in the outdoors as much as practicle.  My favorite days are hikes or swimming with my Labradore, Sassy.

Elle advises clients on matters relating to estate planning, including powers of attorney, advance health care directives, wills, revocable trusts, supplemental needs trusts (also called “special needs” trusts), irrevocable life insurance trusts, asset protection, and business succession.  Her work encompasses all aspects of wills and trusts in Delaware and Pennsylvania, including probate of wills, the marshaling and inventory of assets, and the administration of living and testamentary trusts.  In addition, Elle provides counsel on estate and trust administration, including probate, estate tax returns, post mortem tax planning, and other administration issues.. In addition, Elle frequently assists clients in adult guardianship proceedings and petitions relating to probate or trust administration in the Delaware Court of Chancery and in Pennsylvania Orphans Court.  She advocates on behalf of proposed guardians and persons with disability to pursue the best interests of elderly and disabled persons.. Wade earned a graduate certificate in Estate Planning from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2007.. During the early part of his legal career, Wade concentrated his practice in civil litigation. Over time, he decided to leave the large firm he worked for and develop a practice that would let him work with families to meet their legal needs and give him more time to spend with his own family. Wade’s practice is known as the Delaware Elder Law Center. Wade is a member of WealthCounsel, ElderCounsel, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, which are national organizations of trusts and estates attorneys and other legal, tax and business professionals who design sophisticated planning techniques for individuals and families.

Attorney Kathleen M. Hubbert’s passion for estate planning began while she  was attending Franklin and Marshall College.  She interned at a boutique estates and trusts firm during college and while attending Widener University School of Law, where she focused her studies on estate planning and administration.  Kathleen was also a staff member of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and volunteered with Wills for Heroes.. During her second and third years of law school, Kathleen interned with the Superior Court of Kent County and the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas.  After graduating from Widener in 2013, Kathleen worked as a law clerk for the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas.. Kathleen is a member of the American Bar Association-Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Delaware State Bar Association, where she is a member of the Estates & Trusts and Elder Law Section.  She is admitted to practice law in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
