Formerly a DuPont scientist, I am now a patent lawyer with a Martindale-Hubbell, AV Preeminent® peer review rating. My career is focused on patent procurement and resolving patent disputes, mostly patent litigation. I began my legal career in New York City at a preeminent IP firm with a great track record of serving some of the most illustrious American inventors, including Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Edwin Land, and the Wright brothers. In 2004, I relocated to Delaware, a state with its own proud tradition of innovation.. Throughout my career I've focused on securing and enforcing infringed patent rights and defending those wrongfully accused of infringement, in district courts across the United States.   I've been on the successful side of some of the largest patent litigations ever tried.  I've lead decisive expert examinations in patent jury trials and co-counseled many clients to victories through trial and through favorable early settlements.. I am an associate editor and co-author of two textbooks published by the American Bar Assocation (ABA) on the special procedures of pharmaceutical patent litigation ("ANDA Litigation").. I also assist innovative companies in protecting their inventions by obtaining patents in the first instance, through my certification as a Registered Patent Attorney with the United States Patent & Trademark Office.  I've helped clients obtain patents in technologies ranging from chemical innovations to improve light reflection to advanced integrations in multi-channel software platforms.
