Since 1990, he has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, and served as its President from 1997 to 1998. He is a member of the "Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) and the "American Board of Trial Advocates" (ABOTA). He has also held the office of Treasurer, Triad Chair, and currently sits on the Board as Chairman of the Council of Past Presidents. In 1992, he was selected as one of the two governors representing the State of Delaware currently sits as a trustee of LAWPAC of Delaware and has served as Chairman and Secretary of that organization. From 1999 to 2000, he served as the Chairman of the Workers Compensation Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, and has lectured frequently on behalf of the Bar Association on topics involving workers Compensation.
