Steven Matthew Laird has been an practicing law since August of 2009. Mr. Castle studied philosophy in his twenties.  After obtaining a Ph.D. in that field from the University of Chicago, he went on to study law at Duke University School of Law.  At the beginning of his legal career, Mr. Castle served as a prosecutor in Onslow and Jones Counties, North Carolina.  Since 2007, he has been in private practice and has passionately represented and assisted hundreds of clients with all sorts of legal matters.  Mr. Castle concentrates in civil and criminal litigation.. As a native of South Korea, Mr. Castle loves spicy food.  He is an avid fan of combat sports.  He himself has dabbled in Tae Kweon Do and Judo.  He is married with two lovely daughters, two dogs and three kittens.
