Timothy M. Mayfield is an general practice attorney with an emphasis on litigation who assists clients in multiple areas including domestic relations, criminal law, business litigation, landlord-tenant and estate planning.  Timothy grew up in Clarke County and graduated from John Handley High School.  He earned a B.A. in Anthropology, Archaeology and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia in 2000 and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2003.  He was first admitted to practice in Oregon in 2003 and then in Virginia in 2005.   Mr. Mayfield began practice in Winchester at Adams and Jones, PLC in 2005 and has been with Harrison & Johnston, PLC, since 2011.  He serves on the Board of Directors of the Laurel Center and the Clermont Foundation and has served on several other community non-profit boards.  He was President of the Winchester-Frederick County Bar Association from 2014-15.

Founding Attorney Peter W. Buchbauer has had a passion for debate and law from an early age. He enjoys helping his clients effectively litigate their position in and out of the courtroom. Founding Attorney James J. McGuire went to law school as a steppingstone to follow his father’s legacy and join the Federal Bureau of Investigation. However, when he graduated from university, he was met with a hiring freeze in the federal government. It was this turn of fate that led him to his career as a family law attorney. When it comes to his cases, he tries his best to be a problem solver to his clients’ legal issues. This is to ensure he works in their best interests and obtain a favorable outcome to their case.
