Law is my second career. I have an MFA from UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television. I have worked as a university professor and an independent filmmaker. I directed two feature films. My background in law enables me to apply the facts (your story) to the law so that I can persuade a court to give you the relief you seek.. I represent both appellants and respondents, but for some reason it is mostly would-be appellants who contact me. I have represented appellants in 16 appeals that were pursued from filing the Notice of Appeal through written opinion by the Court of Appeal. I have gotten 5 reversals. Each time that I have represented a respondent the Court of Appeal has affirmed. I pride myself on my ability to advocate clearly, simply, and effectively in plain English.
