I am a trial lawyer and am certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Criminal Law Specialist. I am a Winona native and attended Winona Senior High School, Winona State University and the University of Minnesota Law School. I practiced with a national law firm in Minneapolis for several years before returning to Winona in 1988 and joining the law firm of Darby, Delano and Price. While with the firm, I tried a number of major felony cases, including robbery, narcotics, burglary, assault and criminal sexual conduct. In addition, I successfully represented many injured persons in accident and negligence cases. I left the firm in 1993 to enter government service with the Third Judicial District Public Defenders Office, where I served as Chief Trial Lawyer, handling serious felony trials across southern Minnesota. I left government service in 2003 to join with Michael J. Price and John Paul Plachecki to form the law firm of Price, McCluer and Plachecki.. I have been lead counsel in over 250 jury trials, including homicide, robbery, kidnapping, narcotics, criminal sexual conduct, burglary and assault.. Outside of legal practice, I served as a faculty member at Winona State University from 1988 to 2011. I am active in teaching traditional Japanese martial arts, and serve as counsel, officer and board member for several non-profit organizations.

Beau received his undergraduate degree at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota, and his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota State and the Winona County Bar Associations.. Beau represents clients in criminal defense, DUI/DWI cases, family law, landlord/tenant disputes, debt collection, and real estate matters.. Beau is married and has four wonderful children. He enjoys playing and watching sports and is very active in the community. Beau has served as Vice President on the Board of Directors at Ready Set School and has served as President on the Board of Directors at the Winona Community Foundation. Also, he was a member of the Young Professionals of the Chamber of Commerce.
