I have helped injured people and their families throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin for over 30 years.  When you've been hurt, medical bills pile up and your wages are either reduced or eliminated as you recover from your injuries.   If you've lost a loved one their wages, care, comfort and support are lost forever.   I make sure you and your family are fairly compensated for the injuries you've suffered.  It has been my privilege to help families through the toughest times and to help get them back on their feet.. I grew up in the Mississippi River Valley in Southeastern Minnesota before heading east to the Ivy League’s Dartmouth College. While at Dartmouth I was an English major and ran the Dartmouth Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program. My senior year was spent in the Honors English Program at London’s University College, and I graduated from Dartmouth in 1982. I earned my law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1985. While at Notre Dame I interned with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), and while still in law school, I was chosen as one of two law clerks to assist Robert Kutak as he re-wrote the American Bar Association’s Code of Professional Responsibility.. Following graduation, I  joined Minnesota’s premier trial law firm, Robins, Kaplan, Miller and Ciresi in Minneapolis. While at Robins I handled cases all over the country involving catastrophic property losses from fires and building collapses to environmental pollution cases and bankruptcy claims.. After returning to Winona, I established  Brosnahan Law Firm, P.A. in 1992, dedicated to helping injured people and their families.  While in Winona I have represented over a thousand injured people or families who lost loved ones.  Our clients have included  several lawyers, judges, insurance adjusters and police and sheriff's deputies who were injured themselves or who asked me to represent thier family members who were injured or killed in auto and cycle crashes.  I am flattered and proud that so many people who understand injury and death cases have chosen me to represent them and those they love.  I'd be happy to help you too.

I am a trial lawyer and am certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Criminal Law Specialist. I am a Winona native and attended Winona Senior High School, Winona State University and the University of Minnesota Law School. I practiced with a national law firm in Minneapolis for several years before returning to Winona in 1988 and joining the law firm of Darby, Delano and Price. While with the firm, I tried a number of major felony cases, including robbery, narcotics, burglary, assault and criminal sexual conduct. In addition, I successfully represented many injured persons in accident and negligence cases. I left the firm in 1993 to enter government service with the Third Judicial District Public Defenders Office, where I served as Chief Trial Lawyer, handling serious felony trials across southern Minnesota. I left government service in 2003 to join with Michael J. Price and John Paul Plachecki to form the law firm of Price, McCluer and Plachecki.. I have been lead counsel in over 250 jury trials, including homicide, robbery, kidnapping, narcotics, criminal sexual conduct, burglary and assault.. Outside of legal practice, I served as a faculty member at Winona State University from 1988 to 2011. I am active in teaching traditional Japanese martial arts, and serve as counsel, officer and board member for several non-profit organizations.

Beau received his undergraduate degree at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota, and his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota State and the Winona County Bar Associations.. Beau represents clients in criminal defense, DUI/DWI cases, family law, landlord/tenant disputes, debt collection, and real estate matters.. Beau is married and has four wonderful children. He enjoys playing and watching sports and is very active in the community. Beau has served as Vice President on the Board of Directors at Ready Set School and has served as President on the Board of Directors at the Winona Community Foundation. Also, he was a member of the Young Professionals of the Chamber of Commerce.
