My firm represents individuals in divorce, family law and criminal matters. I have over 30 years of legal experience. I have been awarded the highest possible rating for legal skill and ethical conduct by Martindale Hubbell, the oldest attorney rating company in the United States.. The four most important characteristics of our firm are the accessibility of the attorney, a focus on 'flat rate' billing where possible, a unique approach to case preparation, and a great deal of trial experience.. How is my firm different from our competition and why shoud you hire us?. Accessibility: Most law firms have a layer of personnel between the attorney and the clients. Clients who have switched to our firm from another have told us that attorney inaccessibility was their major problem (with expense and performance being numbers two and three). At our firm when clients have substantive questions, they speak directly with attorney responsible.. Unique Approach: With respect to many matters our experience allows us to perform them for a flat rate within a predictable and short period of time. When a person knows the cost up front and knows how long it will take to accomplish the task it simplifies their decision making.. We prepare every litigation matter as if it will be presented to for trial. Since most cases settle, average lawyers never think about trial until it is almost upon them. We start every case by looking at the law that will govern the trial and we use the law to help draft our pleadings. Everything we do is geared toward convincing the fact finder to find in favor of our client. By preparing for trial, we help ensure the best possible settlements in those matters that are resolved outside of court.. Winning Trial Experience: At trial, we present an understandable, plausible theme of the case. We use audio/visual presentations that help the fact finder understand the facts and relevant law and reinforce our client’s theme. We show the judge or jury why he or they should return a verdict for our client. Sounds simple, but it takes years of experience to perfect. Many lawyers have never taken a single case to trial. I have 30 years of trial experience with my most recent trial taking place on March 14, 2022.. In 2020 I was disciplined by the State Bar for conduct unrelated to the practice of law (I got in a fight with a male stranger in a restaurant parking lot). I regret my behavior.
My practice focuses on representing workers (discrimination, pregnancy, race, age, wrongful termination, sex harassment, etc.) as well as juvenile and adult criminal defendants.. I am not afraid to take cases to trial if an adventageous out of court resolution is not possible.. I personally supervise all cases with the assistance of my great team of attorneys and staff members.. I also offer free phone consultations.
My practice focuses on family law, mediation and personal injury lawsuits. As a Los Angeles local having grown up in the San Fernando Valley, I have practiced primarily in the Los Angeles area. I'm very familiar and experienced with the intricacies of this very peculiar and challenging legal market.. My primary focus is family law. I am a passionate, seasoned and a rising force in the field. I have experience in all aspects of family law and have dealt with all types of clients from all different backgrounds. I pride myself on establishing the personal experience which is often missing in today’s legal environment. I strongly believe that a personalized, individually tailored strategy is critical to an aggressive and successful advocacy for a family law client.. My approach is strong, aggressive, and knowledgeable when obtaining my client’s rights, but I am also mindful of some of my client’s limited resources. As such, I am vigilant to not waste time. As such, my representation is best described as aggressive, judicious, efficient and effective.. I also have a great deal of experience in the field of personal injury. When dealing with a personal injury matter, I maintain the same dogged determination and aggressive advocacy thus ensuring that the client’s rights are respected to the fullest extent possible.. In addition to advocacy, I have experience in being a neutral; working patiently while being knowledgeable and effective. My goal in each and every mediation is assisting the clients in obtaining an equitable agreement in which both clients are satisfied to the fullest extent possible.. Education
My practice focuses on advising sports and entertainment companies, musicians, songwriters, producers, and other entertainment professionals across a spectrum of industries in advertising & marketing, licensing & merchandising, intellectual property, privacy and general corporate matters.. I counsels clients in the interactive entertainment, music, sports and technology/digital media industries, among others.. I received his B.S. in Sports Management from the University of Kansas in 2009 and his J.D., cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2013. I am admitted to practice law in the State of California.
My entire practice is dedicated to helping catastrophically injured victims of trucking and auto crashes, defective products, and medical malpractice. I know that each of my clients has sufferered devastating pain and loss. I fight hard to help them become whole - whether that is through settlement or taking their case to trial. As a former defense attorney, I know how the defense operates, and I use that knowledge to fight for justice on behalf of my clients.
