Before opening my law firm, I was an attorney at Thompson, Meier & King, P.C. in Canton, Georgia for three years. In my capacity as an attorney there, I represented the Cherokee County Department of Family and Children Services in dependency proceedings in Juvenile Court, and I also represented clients in bankruptcy and family law matters. Prior to that, I worked for a small civil firm in Alpharetta, Georgia where I focused my practice on bankruptcy, family law, and civil litigation matters.. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Before starting high school, my family relocated to Yorktown, Virginia where I lived until moving to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Emory University. In some respects, working to resolve cases is much more challenging than litigating the cases. It requires digging in to find out where the problems are and looking for solutions.
