I made a decision 24 years ago following an internship with the Dade County State's Attorney's Office in Miami that following my graduation from Law School that I would devote all of my practice to criminal defense. My father thought I was crazy and never thought I could sustain a practice like that but following my appearance on the O'Reilly Factor in September of 2003 for a racial-profiling case that received national attention, he looked at me and for the first time in his life, told me he was wrong.. Attorney Benoit Joined the Worcester County District Attorney's office upon passing the Bar in 2007, where he worked in the Worcester District Court, Dudley District Court and the Worcester Superior Court. During Attorney Benoit's 5 years with the District Attorney's office, he was a member of the General Felony Unit, the Electronic Surveillance Unit, the Sexually Dangerous Persons Unit and the Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit. Attorney Benoit prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from Disorderly Conduct to Murder.. In 2012 Attorney Benoit left the District Attorney's office to join Eden Rafferty, bringing his years of prosecutorial and trial experience to the firm.
