My practice predominantly focuses on family law and criminal defense and I pride myself on being efficient.  Your time and mine are valuable and I like to work a case as thoroughly as possible without wasting excessive time and money.. While many people view their job as just that, a job, my career is a passion, therefore, I teach at a local community college.  There, I try to pass on the importance of understanding how and why things are done, hoping to inspire others to make choices that will garner positive results.

I made a decision 24 years ago following an internship with the Dade County State's Attorney's Office in Miami that following my graduation from Law School that I would devote all of my practice to criminal defense.   My father thought I was crazy and never thought I could sustain a practice like that but following my appearance on the O'Reilly Factor in September of 2003 for a racial-profiling case that received national attention, he looked at me and for the first time in his life, told me he was wrong.. I handle each client with professionalism & bring a vast amount  of jury trial  experience to the courtroom.   I also pride myself on returning every call, text or email prior to leaving for the day..
