L. Daniel Mims is the founder of The Mims Firm, PC. Mr. Mims was born in Mobile, Alabama. Mr. Mims advises and represents a broad range of clients with multiple legal issues. His clients include businesses, corporations, and individuals.. Mr. Mims earned his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law, where he served on the Trial Advocacy Board and won the James O. Haley Federal Court Competition. He received his undergraduate degree from Troy State University, where he served as Clerk for the Student Government Association. At Troy, he studied American History, Political Science, and Business Administration.. Currently, Mr. Mims is the Municipal Court Judge in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. He is also the Prosecutor for the City of Citronelle, Alabama, Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Satsuma, Alabama, and City Attorney for the City of Creola, Alabama. He serves as Director of the Parkway Senior Citizens Foundation.

I  grew up with a father in the Air Force and has lived all over the United States. At 30 years old, she decided to attend law school. I attended law school full time and worked night jobs, all while being a mother to a young daughter and a wife. I graduated from The Birmingham School of Law in 1998 and has been with The Mims Firm since 2001. My  areas of practice are numerous, including domestic relations, adoptions, wills and estates, and bankruptcies.  When I am not  in the office, you can find me kayaking, cross-training, or running. I have even participated in several Spartan Races and mud runs.

I have been practicing law for 31 years, primarily in the areas of Probate Administration, Probate Litigation, Trust Litigation and Civil Litigation.  I take pride in efficiently handling my cases and providing personalized care to my clients.  I am a 3rd generation lawyer, practicing with my father, Ralph G. Holberg, III, (currently in his 60th year) and for a few years with my late grandfather, Ralph G. Holberg, Jr.  I am a native Mobilian having graduated from UMS in 1986, receiving a B.A. in Political Science in 1990 from the University of Alabama and my J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1993.  I practice primarily in Mobile and Baldwin Counties but can practice throughout the State in Probate, Circuit and the Federal Courts.  I am married and have 3 children.  I enjoy and take pride in helping people and if you think I can be of assistance, please let me hear from you.

I am a native of Mobile, Alabama and gradute of Spring Hill College.  I earned my law degree from the University of Alabama in 1987 and have continually practiced law since then in the Mobile and Baldwin County area.  I have been a partner with the law firm of McFadden, Lyon & Rouse, LLC for the past 15 years.  Over the past 28 years I have assisted hundreds of clients with a variety of legal issues ranging from business and real estate disputes to resolving personal injury and disability claims.
