Combining my business ownership and management skills learned from operating our family sawmills and timber management companies for over 20 years with my legal practice in the areas of business, real estate, estate planning and probate, i have found myself on both sides of the table - as attorney and client. A practicing CPA for 23 years and attorney for 19 years, Shimon B. Feldman specializes in cases dealing with tax controversies such as IRS audits, U.S. Tax Court cases and State payroll, sales tax, and income tax audits involving the EDD, BOE and FTB.  In addition to personal and corporate income tax return preparations, Mr. Feldman performs business transactional and civil litigation for his clients.. After serving four years in the Israeli Navy, Mr. Feldman worked in commercial aviation security.  He then moved to the states, where he graduated from California State University, Northridge, cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting.  After earning his certification, Mr. Feldman practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for several years before earning his J.D. from SouthwesternLawSchool.. Born and raised on a Kibbutz in Israel, Mr. Feldman was a ranked junior long-distance runner and played for the National Israeli Rugby team.  He lives in Santa Monica with his wife, Lisa who is the executive director of the UCLA Fund.  They have 3 college-aged children.  He spends his free time with his family and four dogs, ocean kayaking, swimming or hiking.

I'm a lawyer, a communications consultant, wife, daughter and dog mom. I focus on estate planning and business formation and counsel for small business owners and entrepreneurs. I started my firm to support everyday consumers who need help managing their legal affairs but don't necessarily have a lot of experience working with attorneys. These are my practice areas, but my specialty is relating to clients, being accessible and providing legal service that truly helps. Mr. Omrani graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1994 with a B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Southern California Institute of Law in 1999. He was admitted to both the California State Bar and the United States District Court in 2000. When Mr. Omrani first opened his law firm in 2000, he was hired as an independent contractor by multiple law firms (all at the same time) to assist them with their legal matters. As a result, Mr. Omrani became very familiar with appearing in front of many judges, in many different courtrooms, and in many, many different counties. Through the years of assisting these other law firms, as well as maintaining his own office, Mr. Omrani has been able to amass knowledge of many different areas of law. He currently represents clients (both as plaintiff/petitioner and as defendant/respondent) in legal matters such as  business disputes, consumer debts, judgment enforcement, family law,restraining orders, landlord/tenant disputes, and more. In fact, Mr. Omrani has even represented client’s in criminal, probate and appellate matters. Not only is Mr. Omrani well versed in the these areas of law, but is now working on associating with other law firms to add immigration and bankruptcy to his resume.

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and during my youth, worked at both Caesars Palace and the Sahara Hotels.  While attending Valley High School in Las Vegas, I met Bonnie Braiker-Gordon, who in 1975 became my wife.  We attended college together in Los Angeles and then attended law school together in San Diego.. I have always been a fan of all forms of music and for a short time, played guitar in a rock & roll band.  I have never retired my guitars, and playing music to this day is about the greatest form of relaxation I have experienced.. Bonnie (my wife and law partner) and I have two grown children.  Our son married in 2008, and our daughter married in 2010.  We now have three beautiful grandchildren and one more on the way.. I have many hobbies and interests, however, this is neither the time nor place for a discussion of my own pursuits.. What is far more important to learn about me are the assurances I give to each of my clients to use my very best efforts to obtain a fair, just and reasonable outcome in every legal matter handled by our law firm.  Further, that I take a "personal" interest in all legal matters for which I am retained to represent your interests, and vow to keep you fully informed of all material aspects of your case - whatever that may entail....
