I have been happily married to Mary Stamper Lynam for 24 years and I am blessed with two great daughters, Kaeli and Natalie.  My interests and hobbies include golfing, coaching basketball, playing guitar, and other fun activities.  Two of my favorite authors are John Grisham and Carl Hiaasen.

Jo Flannery is a member of the Litigation and Real Estate departments at Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland, PLLC. Raised by a real estate agent, and a former Realtor herself, Jo has a particular interest in real property law. With over a decade of broad litigation experience behind her, Jo's practice has focused, over the last seven years, primarily on representing condominium and homeowner associations in the pursuit and resolution of construction defect claims, risk management, and covenant governed disputes.. Since joining Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland in 2005, Jo’s practice has expanded to again include the prosecution of professional liability claims, insurance bad faith, products liability, construction disputes, real property disputes both commercial and residential including matters of fraudulent concealment, easements and other conveyance matters as well as environmental claims involving hazardous substances. Having practiced exclusively on the defense side in the early years and then exclusively on the plaintiff’s side for the next several years, Jo now splits the aisle. Still primarily a plaintiff’s lawyer, her practice once again includes representation and advice and counsel to developers, contractors and property owners in the development stage as well as in defense of litigation.

Jim Horne was born in Osaka, Japan but his family moved to Washington State when he was six months old. The rest of his life has been spent in the Northwest. He grew up in Parkland, near Tacoma, attended Gonzaga University in Spokane as an undergraduate, and received his J.D. from Willamette University School of Law in Salem, Oregon.. He has extensive federal and state trial and appellate experience involving a wide range of civil litigation matters throughout the Western United States. He has served as trial counsel in Product Liability claims involving various products including prescription medications;  medical devices; asbestos; urea-formaldehyde; Phentermine of the “Fen-Phen” diet drug combination; bone (pedicle) screws; the food supplements goldenseal and echinacea; football helmets; wall-mounted heaters; and other electrical equipment and appliances. He also has considerable experience with building and construction defect claims on behalf of contractors, building owners and occupants (condominiums, apartment buildings, hotels, parking and other facilities in the hospitality industry) as well as fire loss and property damage claims, including business interruption, loss of use, and loss of access claims.. He also spends a considerable amount of his time doing insurance coverage, first-party property insurance, and third-party liability insurance coverage and defense.

Mr. Hampton is a director with Betts, Patterson & Mines, P.S. His practice primarily consists of the representation of insurance carriers in coverage and extra-contractual matters, particularly with respect to numerous types liability insurance (e.g., commercial general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, excess and umbrella). He also accepts assignments of challenging civil litigation outside the area of insurance coverage.

Christine E. Dinsdale is a 1982 honors graduate of the University of Arizona Law School. She served as Executive Editor of the law review and was awarded the prize for best brief in moot court competition. Since 1982, she has practiced law in Seattle, serving local, national and international clients in a wide variety of business and litigation matters. Ms. Dinsdale is licensed to practice in Washington and Oregon.. Her current practice focuses on advising clients and litigating claims including defense of complex tort disputes, product liability actions, commercial disputes and class actions. She represents numerous manufacturers, retailers and premises owners in defending and resolving claims of exposure to asbestos, benzene and other substances. Recent cases litigated have involved toxic exposures, contamination of consumer food products, product liability, trademark violations, farmworker rights and employer obligations, privacy, and technology issues. She also enjoys appellate work, and has represented clients in numerous appeals in state and federal appellate courts. Chris has furthered her long-term interest in European history and culture by living in Italy and Austria while conducting research and publishing in the areas of international trade in forest products. She was a founding principal of a consulting firm providing legal risk assessment and loss control services to technology-oriented companies, and also has published articles in the areas of risk prevention and technology.
