Chris represents injured workers in all aspects of Oregon Workers’ Compensation claims. Because of the nature and complexity of this area of law, she limits her practice to only workers’ compensation to increase her mastery of this highly regulated and increasingly complicated system. Chris grew up in Kansas and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1985. She has worked in a variety of jobs including waitress, hummingbird-feeder assembler(!), and grocery clerk. In 1992, Chris graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law, where she helped found the Oregon Law Students’ Public Interest Fund, was a member of the Law Review, and earned the American Jurisprudence Award in Trial Practice. Before joining the firm in 2008, she was a staff attorney for the Workers’ Compensation Board for two years.. My workers' compensation career started in 1973 as a claims manager for a private insurance company in Oregon.  In 1980 I joined the legal division of the Oregon State Accident Insurance Fund.  In 1986 I began representing injured workers in private practice, which has continued to the present.. I enjoy hiking, especially in the Columbia River Gorge where I live, tinkering with classic cars, riding my Tennessee Walker bay mare and home improvement projects.

Prior to a career in law, Sam focused his studies on finance while he managed a number of businesses in Southern Idaho. He is a hard worker known for his attention to detail and passion for the law. Ethan A. Busald attended Transylvania University where he received his Bachelors in 2005. He then studied at Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University until 2009. I am originally from Lexington, Kentucky and began my academic career at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, graduating with honors, Cum Laude, in 1996. In the Fall of 1996 I returned to the Commonwealth, located in Louisville, and entered the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, where I graduated with honors, Cum Laude, earning a Juris Doctorate in 1999.. In October of 1999, I was admitted to practice Law in Kentucky and began as an associate with a local firm representing injured people in workers’ compensation claims, claims arising from automobile, truck, and motorcycle accidents, and other personal injury claims. In 2006, I was elevated from associate to partner in the firm and continued to work fighting for the rights of injured Kentuckians. In 2008, I began the Evensen Law Office, believing it afforded the greatest opportunity to provide the best legal representation for my clients.. I have represented hundreds of individuals helping them recover benefits arising from their injuries. I have successfully argued cases on behalf of my clients to the Supreme Court of Kentucky, and on multiple occasions had victorious cases published by the Supreme Court, thereby changing the law in favor of client’s position. Pete is licensed to practice in Ohio and Kentucky.  He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.  Pete focuses his practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury, but enjoys maintaining a broad practice.  As a result, his experience in workers’ compensation litigation and personal injury work is supplemented by trial experience in family law and medical malpractice cases.. Pete graduated cum laude from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He was one of only two students in his graduating class to receive the Certificate for Excellence in Advocacy.  Shortly before graduation, he was elected to the prestigious Order of the Barrister. At Chase, Pete was selected to become a member of the Inns of Court in consecutive years.  He was elected vice president of the Chase Student Advocacy Society and was the founding president of the law school Toastmasters Chapter.  As a member of the Chase National Trial Team, Pete competed in trial competitions throughout the country, helping fill the law school trophy cabinet along the way.  Pete has maintained his ties to Chase, where he works as an Adjunct coach of the trial team he once represented.. Pete proudly became a U.S. Citizen in 2012.  Nowadays, Pete lives in Ohio with his wife and son, but he was born in England and lived in Poland for nearly two years before moving to the U.S.A.  Before becoming a lawyer, Pete pursued a successful management career.  He uses this experience to better represent his clients.  He is a lifelong fan of Manchester United Football Club.  He is an advocate for breast cancer awareness and annually completes a 39.3 mile walk to raise money for this worthy cause.”

Haley Stamm graduated with honors from Northern Kentucky University and attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law.  While at Chase, she was both a member of the Northern Kentucky Law Review and the Moot Court Board, proudly representing Chase in two national competitions.  In 2006, her paper on eminent domain was awarded a prize in the annual Kentucky Bar Association writing competition. During her final year at Chase, she had the opportunity to work for both Justice Donald Wintersheimer and Justice Wilfrid Schroder at the Kentucky Supreme Court.  She obtained her Juris Doctor from Chase College of Law in 2007, and is admitted as a licensed attorney in good standing in both Ohio and Kentucky.. Haley brings with her over ten years of legal experience in a variety of complex practice areas, in both federal and state law.  She has years of experience as an Attorney Advisor to federal administrative law judges, working on claims for disability benefits under the Social Security Act and under federal workers’ compensation programs.  As an associate attorney at Lawrence & Associates, she is excited to be able to use her prior experience to help injured workers fight for their workers’ compensation claims in Kentucky.. Haley is passionate about community involvement and volunteerism.  She has served as a Sunday school teacher for over 7 years and is an active Merit Badge counselor with the Scouts.  In her free time, Haley and her family frequently volunteer at local fundraisers and festivals for charity.
