Columbus workers compensation attorney Courtney Larrimer-Klatt is the daughter of Dr. John Larrimer, the middle child of firm founder Richard N. Larrimer’s seven children. Courtney was born in Columbus, Ohio. She attended the Columbus School for Girls, graduating in 1989 with honors. Courtney went on to graduate Miami University in 1993. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Finance. Upon completing her college degree, she attended Capital University Law School. At the same time, she worked as a legal assistant at Larrimer & Larrimer, LLC. Courtney graduated Capital University Law School in 1996 and began working full time at Larrimer & Larrimer, LLC as an attorney.

Douglas Koppel practices workers’ compensation in the Columbus and Circleville offices.  Doug grew up in central Ohio and earned his B.A. in History from the Ohio State University.  He stayed at Ohio State for law school and obtained his J.D. in 2008.  Doug remains an avid OSU sports fan, attending several football and basketball games each year.  He also follows Cleveland sports teams.  A new father, Doug spends most of his time with his wife and son.

I am a solo practioner in Upper Arlington.  I am a certified specialist in Workers' Compensation law through the Ohio State Bar Association.  That's been my primary focus for many years, but I also enjoy practicing in other areas of law including probate, Wills and estate planning, and Social Security Disability.  I enjoy helping clients avoid problems whenever possible, but also helping to solve them when they can't be avoided.

Prior to focusing on employment litigation and workers’ compensation, I was a general litigator, representing individuals, businesses, and insurance companies throughout the state of Ohio.

I am proud to represent people and not corporations. We spend 100% of our time representing injured clients--not divorce, DWI or criminal clients, as most firms do.. I was born in Kansas City, but grew up in Macon, Missouri, before coming to Columbia for college at Mizzou, graduating from the University of Missouri School of Law in 1998.. During law school, I clerked at the Hines Law Firm, as I wanted to stay in Columbia to practice, and was hired as an Associate at the Firm in 1998.  I was made a Partner in the Firm in 2003, where I practice exclusively in the areas of personal injury litigation and worker's compensation.  We only represent those who have been injured through no fault of their own and are able to pick our cases and clients carefully.. I serve on the Board of KIDS' CHANCE of Missouri, a scholarship program for children of workers who were seriously injured or killed on the job.  I have also been elected by my peers to serve on the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys since 2005.

Chris received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1988 and the Illinois bar in 1989.  Chris is licensed in all Missouri state courts, the United Stated District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.. Chris has served as president of the Jackson Rotary Club and treasurer for the SEMO District Fair.  He has been a board member for the University of Missouri Extension Council and the Farm Bureau Board of Directors.  Chris also earned a master’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and taught Agriculture Law as an adjunct professor at Southeast Missouri State University.. I am also an avid historian, especially of military history.  I have a vast collection of military art, signed by WW2 veterans who served in various branches of the US Armed Forces, the British Army/RAF, as well as in the German Army/Luftwaffe.. Lastly, I have a profound weakness for single malt scotch and good single barrel bourbons and whiskey.
