Mr. Briones comes from a family of lawyers. His father, Felix Briones, Jr., has been practicing in Farmington, New Mexico for over 50 years. His brother, B. Paul Briones, is also an attorney in Farmington, and a part time Federal Magistrate Judge. Tom began his legal career in Farmington in 1993 with his father (Paul joined later). Tom was a general practitioner, representing mostly small businesses from contract creation to complex litigation. It was from his father, Felix, that Tom learned the importance of hard work, professionalism, ethics and integrity. Mr. Briones later moved back to Albuquerque in 1997, where he met, fell and in love and married his wife, Stephanie. He founded Briones Business Law Consulting, P.C., in July of 2011.

Donald L. Jones (Don) is the owner, managing member and senior attorney of Donald L. Jones Attorney, LLC.  Don graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1969 and has lived in Albuquerque and been in the private practice of law in New Mexico for over 50 years. Don received an AV rating in Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory early in his career and has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America in the area of Real Estate Law.  Don practices primarily in the areas of business, real estate, estate planning and probate law.  Don is dedicated to his community as well as to his law practice.  He has served as a Director and as Vice Chairman for Governmental Affairs Division of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Senior Lawyers Division of the State Bar of New Mexico, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Albuquerque Youth Symphony (AYS) Program, and as Chairman of a citizen task force appointed by the Mayor and the City Council of Albuquerque to review and recommend amendments of the Albuquerque City Charter. In his spare time, Don enjoys playing golf, hiking in the mountains, and traveling and spending time with his wife, Merri Jean Jones, the owner of Studio J Interiors, Inc. a residential and commercial interior design firm, and visiting his children and grandchildren who live in Chicago, Illinois and Olympia, Washington.

Matthew works on business, real estate, and estate planning matters, with attention to each client’s particular legal needs.  He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School with concentrations in Business and Real Estate Law.  Matthew has experience with businesses of all sizes, having assisted startups at the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic, founded and operated his own company, and worked at Epic, one of the largest electronic medical record software vendors.  Originally from California, Matthew has lived in the Madison area since 2010.  He enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing board games in his free time.
