Erin B. Blackwell, Esq. received her Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Board and competed on the American Association for Justice national trial team. Prior to law school, Ms. Blackwell received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy from Elon University, graduating magna cum laude. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, The Order of Barristers, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.. Ms. Blackwell enjoys traveling, a good movie, and spending time with family and friends.

I am a commercial transactions and business attorney, and a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law.  While a student at the University of Baltimore, I pursued a concentration in intellectual property law, and was a Judicial Intern for the Hon. Althea M. Handy on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. I also participated in the Student Attorney program, through which I advised clients on business entity decisions, intellectual property issues, and contracts, and prepared claims for submission to the Board of Veteran Appeals.. During my first year in legal practice following graduation from law school, I was the Judicial Law Clerk for the Hon. Pamela J. White on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. As the judge's clerk, I researched points of law for the judge, prepared legal memoranda, and assisted in the drafting of proposed orders.  I also served as the Art Law Clinic Coordinator at Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, managing volunteer attorneys working with clients on copyright, trademark, contract, and business issues.
