Michaël was born and raised in France, graduated summa cum laude from undergraduate school, and earned his law degree from the University of Southern California.. Before founding CrossCourt Law, Michaël worked at several leading legal institutions including the global law firm of K&L Gates LLP. Michaël has been admitted to practice before all California state trial courts as well as the Federal Northern, Central, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California, and also before U.S. Bankruptcy Courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.. Since 2004, Michaël has been teaching courses at the University of California, Irvine, focusing on Contracts and Employment Law. I earned my Juris Doctorate from University of Missouri -- Kansas City. While attending law school I was actively involved in the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Appellate Advocacy Competition, Mock Trial Competition, and also attained the Dean’s List for academic achievement. After attending Law School, I had the opportunity to return to the Springfield area.
