Jacqueline started her legal career in-house at a large entertainment and technology company. There, she worked on a huge assortment of projects, including contributing to securities, privacy, compliance, employment, and intellectual property matters. Notably, she assisted with that company’s $5.9 billion acquisition of another entertainment company. She followed her in-house experience with over a year spent working on business, employment, and intellectual property disputes for a firm in the South Bay.. Jacqueline has applied this experience towards receiving her “Certified Information Privacy Professional/US” (CIPP/US) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). This certification reflects her strong foundation in U.S. private-sector privacy laws and regulations, as well as her understanding of the legal requirements for the responsible transfer of sensitive data to and from the U.S., the EU, and other jurisdictions.

My clients have ranged from multinational corporations to small businesses and individuals.  I have litigated a variety of disputes, including claims under California’s Unfair Competition Law, contract disputes, Internet-privacy class actions, state and federal civil rights claims, and landlord tenant disputes.  In addition to having experience at the pre-trial, trial, appellate, and settlement stages of litigation, I have engaged in extensive motions practice in both state and federal courts.  I have also counseled business clients on compliance-related matters relating to data security, consumer privacy, and confidentiality.  I work wtih my clients to find the most appropriate course of action for their circumstances.
