Amber Masters is a founding partner of The Contracts Counselor, where she focuses on contract drafting, review, and negotiation.. Amber received her Bachelor's of Science in Sociology, where she studied recidivism among prisoners participating in substance abuse treatment programs, and was published in The Prison Journal. After graduation, she and her husband taught English in China and traveled through Asia. Amber graduated cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. During law school, Amber served as a member of the student bar association, competed in Moot Court, and worked as a research assistant, studying environmental laws in Kampala, Uganda. She also served on the Utah Bar Association’s Litigation board.. Amber serves on the board for Starfish Orphanage, a foster care home to abandoned children in western China. Amber enjoys competing in marathons, road biking, photography, traveling, and spending time with her family and is an active member of her church.. Prior to founding The Contracts Counselor, Amber worked as an associate at Dunlap, Bennett, and Ludwig and served as a judicial law clerk in the Fourth District Court of Utah with the Honorable Judges Christine Johnson and Thomas Low, working in a wide variety of both civil and criminal matters. Mr. Messina served as an Assistant to the Dean of the Pace University School of Law before entering Law School in September of 1976. He was in the first graduating class of the Pace University School of Law in June of 1979, earning his Juris Doctor degree. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Pace University, Pleasantville Campus and a Master of Science Degree in Crimnal Justice and Homeland Security from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.. Mr. Messina was appointed an Assistant District Attorney of Westchester County, by the Honorable Carl A. Vergari, in August of 1979,  after having served as a Law Intern in the District Attorney’s Office while in law school. Mr. Messina served in the Local Criminal Courts Bureau, Frauds Bureau and the Appeals and Motions Bureau. He resigned his appointment in February of 1984 to open his firm for the general practice of law in Somers, New York where he has resided all his life.. Mr. Messina was elected a Town Justice of the Town of Somers in November of 1987, and served as Town Justice of the Town of Somers until December 31, 1999. The Town Justice is a part-time position.

He is a previous winner of Yale University’s Sobotka Seed Stage Venture Grant in Business and the Environment and held fellowships with the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, the Yale Climate and Energy Institute, and the Pace Law Land Use Law Center. From 2003-2008, Mr. Edgar served as Vice President of Hydraulitall Inc., a specialized marine construction firm operating throughout North America.. He is a co-founder of Pulse Grids, LLC, a company providing sustainable equipment packages and off-grid energy services in both developed and developing countries. An avid environmentalist, Joseph actively works with various sustainability-focused non-profits and serves as Treasurer of the Westchester Land Trust. He lives with his wife and two children in Westchester County, New York.
