Although Pat’s representations spanned technologies as diverse as integrated circuits and components, opaque polymers, RFID, and black powder rifles, he also managed to work on every front of the global smartphone patent wars for Samsung, Motorola, HTC, Eastman Kodak, Nokia, and others.

Minna Chan is a partner at Russ August & Kabat, where she focuses on intellectual property and litigation.. Ms. Chan specializes in complex patent and other intellectual property disputes, and has significant experience in all phases of litigation before federal district courts, the ITC, and the USPTO. Over recent years, she has helped attain highly favorable settlement and trial outcomes resulting in multiple tens of millions of dollars in awards and settlements for her clients across a wide range of technologies, including smart thermostats, data compression, wireless communications, electronic storage devices, and semiconductors..
