While working full-time in the software industry, I earned my Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law with an Intellectual Property Focus. I grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Columbia University, in New York, with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering and a minor in Political Science.. I relocated to the Pacific Northwest to join Microsoft full-time in 2003 and have since been in Program/Project Manager roles with Microsoft, RealNetworks, and AT&T, primarily in portable consumer electronics, digital media, telecom industry products, and consumer privacy issues and compliance. My primary interests are in the areas of intellectual property, copyright/trademarks/patents, consumer privacy, advertising law, small/startup business, and the myriad of issues facing artists, technology entrepreneurs and startups.. I am a member of the American Bar Association, King County Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Division and Intellectual Property Sections of the Washington State Bar my spare time I love to try new recipes, work on cars, go snowboarding, play with my German Shepherd, and spend my weekends on a never-ending list of home improvement projects.
