Alex Aron is an accomplished Intellectual Property attorney who's currently a Partner at Atlanta-based IP and entertainment law firm Vivid IP. She has significant experience in trademark clearance, patent registrations, prosecution, and IP portfolio management. Her knack for building airtight patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios can be traced, in large part, to her experience in working with technology, IP developers, and software licensees. After over 24 years of complex litigation, I still find it interesting and exciting.   Perhaps it is the Irish in me, but I enjoy the inevitable fights with the opposing counsel when I'm vindicating my clients' rights.  And I especially enjoy winning those fights.. On my desk is a sculpture of The Thinker.  It reminds me that I won most of my fights by a series of strategic choices that were well thought out and executed.. Other items on my desk acknowledge the fight aspect of my job.  A postcard picture of a snarling dog with the caption “Business as usual” is displayed on my desk above a metal “Law Badge” and the book The Art of War (Sun Tzu).  A large shark jaw with dozens of sharp teeth is mounted above those items on my wall.  These items were all gifts given to me over the years.. My desk also displays items with a softer side.  My wedding picture shows me holding my wife and a legal pad that states “My Greatest Case” that our pastor who married us gave me as a gift.  Our pastor gave me that legal pad because he knew how easily I could be consumed by the cases of my clients.  After over 18 years of marriage, I continue to strive to have my wife be My Greatest Case.
