Amanda Schmidt was born and raised in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  She attended Glen Burnie High and graduated from Washington College with a B.A. in sociology, a minor in psychology, and a concentration in pre-law.   While attending Washington College, Amanda realized her dream of becoming a family law attorney.  She went on to attend the University of Baltimore School of Law.. During law school, Amanda was a student attorney for the University's Family Law Clinic, where she argued cases in District Court and Circuit Court for economically disadvantaged clients.  Amanda participated in a campaign to reform Maryland's domestic violence laws, and was part of a delegation that testified before the General Assembly to change those laws. She was also a participant in the Center for Families, Courts and Children, where she became involved in the Truancy Court Program.  This program offered a holistic approach to assisting at-risk youths who demonstrated truant behavior.  Amanda also interned for the Honorable Yolanda Tanner and Master Claudette Brown at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Juvenile Division.  Amanda also obtained her mediation certification while attending law school.. After graduating from Law School, Amanda was selected to clerk for Domestic Relations Master William M. Dunn at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Family Law Division. After her clerkship, she immediately went on to work for Ward Pratz & Associates, P.A. where she has concentrated on further developing the family practice of the firm.. Amanda is a certified Maryland mediator, and has her certification in Child Counsel’s Training from the Administrative Office of the Courts, Family Administration.  She has served in the capacity of a court-appointed attorney representing children in contested custody cases.

Kristina Chung began her legal career in criminal law, but it did not take her long to venture into the practice of family law as it has always been her passion to help families during their times of need. Kristina truly enjoys the relationship and client interaction she gets from practicing family law. She enjoys being able to remedy a situation that is often one of the hardest times in a client’s life. Kristina is a great listener and feels that she can offer her logic, legal expertise and opinion to a situation that needs an unbiased eye.. As someone who has not only studied family law, but witnessed it first hand, Kristina can empathize with anyone going through a tough family court battle.. Kristina attended The University of Texas at Austin for both her undergraduate degree and her law degree. She graduated undergrad with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in public relations with honors. While in law school, Kristina worked as an Intern at the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, a Judicial Intern at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the Fourteenth Court of Appeals, and as a Fellowship Intern at the Office of the Attorney General – Child Support Division. Through her various positions, Kristina has gained valuable insight into the way various agencies, district courts and the appelate courts view family law cases.. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys working out, cooking new dishes, attending weddings (does anyone else share this interest?), visiting her family in Jamaica and traveling the world. She has already been to, Europe, Asia and Africa!

Amy Gervich is a life-long St. Louis resident. She received her undergraduate and law degrees from St. Louis University. While attending law school, she worked at Oracle Corporation and SBC as a full-time technology consultant. After graduating from law school, she began her legal career at a large defense firm in Edwardsville, Illinois, where she practiced tort and products liability law. She is licensed to practice law in all state courts in Missouri. Amy Gervich practices primarily in the area of Domestic Relations but also expands her practice to include Criminal/Traffic, Personal Injury, Real Estate and Estate Planning.

Kiley M. Whitty is a licensed attorney specializing in the areas of family law, child custody, estate planning and bankruptcy in  DuPage, Kane, Will, Cook and surrounding collar counties.
