That’s why all of my clients receive my cell phone number at the outset of representation. That’s why we welcome calls from our clients at 11:00 at night or 5:00 am. That’s why my clients don’t get billed by the minute for routine telephone calls or emails. That’s why we meet with clients during evening hours and over the weekend at locations that work for them, not for us. That’s why we will always return your call within 24 hours, regardless of when you call. To me, the cornerstone of a fruitful attorney-client relationship rests on consistent communication. Before starting my own firm, I practiced at widely respected estate planning and business law firm in downtown Portland, where I gained significant experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration and a wide variety of transactional business matters.. I have in the past also had the opportunity to work in the in-house legal departments of two well-known Oregon companies, where I focused primarily on real estate and business transactions. In these positions, I saw first hand the unique problems businesses face when it comes to dealing with legal issues. I began my legal career as an associate attorney for a Fort Worth based energy firm, researching and drafting oil and gas title and drafting title opinions. While continuing to work in the oil and gas field, I began working for a litigation firm, primarily as a civil defense attorney and family law attorney. In addition to gaining valuable court room experience, I also negotiated on behalf of my clients and represented them through mediation and arbitration. In 2012 my career expanded into the telecommunications industry where I have provided major telecom carriers with counsel in regards to leasing, ownership rights, compliance and regulatory issues. Since then, I have expanded to assist creditors with resolving unpaid claims, collecting assets and obtaining judgments.
