My wife and I moved to Memphis where I attended law school. When I graduated, I obtained a job with a large law firm, where I practiced law for two years. I then had the chance to go into practice with my father. Our law firm became Fowler & Fowler, PLLC in 2005. Since 2005, we have been building our firm through technology and doing something we love--helping people solve problems.

During a difficult time of loss for families, you can trust my firm to handle the legalities of preserving your loved one’s legacy with grace and warmth. We are a small boutique firm where you will experience hands on interaction with your experienced Nashville probate attorney.. Hi, my name is Kristen. I’m a Nashville native, mother of two and an attorney with my own private practice, but I’m probably not like most lawyers you know.. Before I earned my law degree, I was an officer and detective for 10 years with the Metro Nashville PD. I’ve worked on SWAT teams, search and rescue, undercover narcotics and vice control, youth services, anti-terrorism investigations (jointly with the FBI), and of course many days and nights on patrol.. The experience helps me in so many ways as a lawyer, both in terms of skill set and perspective, having worked on multiple sides of our law-and-order system. This may sound simple, but I know where to go to get things done, and I know how to talk to people, whether I’m deposing, negotiating, investigating or de-escalating a difficult situation.. I have been a practicing attorney for 12 years, part of that time with the premier criminal defense firm in Nashville, Neal & Harwell, and the rest as a solo practitioner specializing in civil and criminal litigation. On behalf of the Center for Elder Veterans Rights, I am proud to represent elderly disabled Veterans to help them claim the disability compensation and pension benefits they’ve earned.. One of the things I like so much about private practice is the personal attention I can give to each case. I have fewer clients but more hands-on interaction, which is the way I like it.. If you have questions or need help, please contact me anytime. Basically, I’m a lawyer with a lot of life experience and a thing for protection.
