My work history includes banks, banks and more banks, which makes sense since my position at Lion Legal Services is handling business, real estate, and other civil cases. All of our transactional cases cross my desk at some point or another, including real estate closings, business formations, landlord evictions, and debt defense; as well as most of our civil litigation cases, including consumer protection work, suing debt collectors for wrongful collection tactics, business dissolutions, fraud, misrepresentation, and breach of contracts.. Lion Legal Services is my happy place with our no-nonsense, team approach to resolving clients’ issues. Unlike most folks, I’m non-confrontational and quiet. I have always been passionate about helping others, which led me to become a student-attorney in the Wills, Probate, & Guardianship Clinic while in law school. My primary focus is still wills, probate, and guardianship, but now I practice other areas of civil law along with being a wills and probate attorney in Fort Worth.. I opened our Dallas/Fort Worth office in 2015. I am committed to serving the community and frequently volunteer with Houston Volunteer Lawyers. I grew up in the DFW metroplex area where I graduated from Naaman Forest High School in Garland, Texas.  After working for eight years in the banking industry and upon graduating with honors from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2005, I attended the Texas Wesleyan Law School.  During law school, I worked as a law clerk for a local bankruptcy attorney, was on the staff of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review, and was president of the Student Family Law Association.  I graduated from law school with honors in 2008 and went to work at a local firm.. After several years of working for another firm, I decided to open my own practice with a goal of providing personal and quality service to each of my clients.  I take seriously the trust that my clients have when they ask me to handle important aspects of their lives.

Betsy practices Probate, Elder, Real Estate, and Consumer Law, and provides Estate Planning Services in Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, and Galveston Counties.. Todd Marquardt received his Bachelor’s Degree in Government from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico and earned his Juris Doctorate at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Daniel was born and grew up in San Antonio, Tx. After graduating from Antonian College Preparatory High School, he attended the University of Texas at Austin. There, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Government/Political Science, as well double-minoring in Business and Interdisciplinary Studies.. Daniel then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law. During his time in law school, Daniel also soent a summer in Europe studying under United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts at the Institute on World Legal Problems at the University of Innsbruck in Innsbruck, Austria.. Immediately after receiving his law license and being admitted to the Texas Bar, Daniel became a Criminal Texas State Prosecutor for the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office. Daniel also spent time as the First Chair Prosecutor running the office’s Criminal Protective Orders Unit, where he conducted Protective Order hearings in front of the elected Civil District Court Judges in Bexar County. After leaving the DA’s Office, Daniel then went on to work at  a multi-practice area law firm with offices across Texas. There, he handled the law firm’s caseload, representing the various legal needs of the office’s clients.. My name is HECTOR Q. MARTINEZ; I  was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I  graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a Humanities Degree in 1995, and soon went on to receive a law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas in 2001.  While in law school at St. Mary’s Hector was a member of the Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Minority Issues, and served as a teaching assistant for mediation, negotiation, and a law in philosophy course, as well as being a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association.. Currently, Hector focuses his time and knowledge to represent individuals faced with probate, property inheritance, or personal injury cases, as well as helping individuals gain peace of mind when they are making decisions related to the future, such as what is the next step in dealing with the assets, home, or insurance of a recently passed loved one, what information does one need to prepare a Will, and how does a person designate the individual who will be there to help deal with their financial affairs or when immediate medical attention is needed, if one is incapacitated..
