Mitchell B. Crane is a born and raised Austin native. Mitchell spent his freshman year of college playing baseball for the Southwestern University Pirates. Following the 2009-10 school year, Mitchell transferred to Baylor University where he would stay for the next five and a half years, earning his Bachelor of Art and Juris Doctor degrees along the way. In November 2015, Mitchell’s time at Baylor came to a close as he graduated law school and returned to Austin to join the Crane Law Firm. Mitchell is a huge sports fan and never misses an opportunity to cheer on his Texas Rangers or Baylor Bears.
Melinda Hedrick grew up in Carthage, Texas, and came to Waco over 20 years ago to attend Baylor University where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting in 1994. She was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1996. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law in 1999, where she was on the Dean's List and participated in the Harvey M. Richey Moot Court Society.. Melinda is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She currently serves on the board of the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association and served as President of the Waco-McLennan County Young Lawyers Association from 2007-2008.. Melinda has taught as an adjunct Lecturer at the Baylor University School of Law and served as president of the Heart of Texas Estate Planning Council. She has also served as president of the Waco Montessori School Board of Trustees. Her areas of concentration include wills, trusts and other estate planning, as well as probate administration, tax law and general business matters. She and her husband, Brent, have 2 daughters, Tinsley and Ella.
