I grew up in the panhandle in Idalou, Texas. Born and raised in a small town, I understand and appreciate the values of small-town people. I completed my undergraduate degree in three years in Austin at the University of Texas. I worked in New York and San Francisco until I had my fill and came back HOME.. I studied at Texas Tech University, School of Law and was on the Law Review and Board of Barristers.  I also got my Master's of Business Administration.. My next job was with the Collin County District Attorney's Office as a misdemeanor prosecutor. I am a trial attorney. I love to present an argument before a jury and show them the truth. The courtroom is a place where I truly feel at home.. In the District Attorney's Office, I rose from the ranks of misdemeanor prosecutor, through the white collar crime division to a felony trial team. I have tried over a hundred cases to a jury, negotiated countless plea bargains, authored appeals, and investigated complicated criminal referrals including securities and mortgage fraud allegations from complaint through grand jury and to resolution..
