Growing up in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, Sam is a lifelong resident of Washington County and the St. Croix Valley area.  Sam earned his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2001. While enrolled at William Mitchell, Sam was active in Moot Court and a member of Law Review.Upon graduating from William Mitchell, Sam first worked as a judicial clerk for both The Honorable Kenneth J. Maas in the Washington County District Court and The Honorable Stephen M. Halsey in the Wright County District Court.  This experience gave him invaluable insight that he uses on a daily basis in his practice to this day. Upon leaving his posts as a judicial law clerk, Sam worked for two years as an associate at the Stillwater law firm of Anastasi and Associates where he honed his skills in complex litigation, debt collection, mechanics liens, and real estate law. After two years of work at Anastasi and Associates, in the summer of 2004, Sam started his own practice. Since opening his own practice, Sam has greatly expanded his expertise into criminal defense, DWI & DUI defense, as well as family law and other related areas. Sam is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association and the Washington County Bar Association.  He serves on the Washington County District Court - Criminal Committee which establishes Stillwater courthouse policies and makes decisions about criminal court issues. I grew up in Palmer Township, just southeast of St. Cloud, MN. After attending St. Cloud State University to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Studies, I worked as a juvenile probation officer, construction laborer and paralegal before returning to school to receive my law degree from Hamline University School of Law. Prior to opening Wipper Law and Custody Evaluation Center, PLLC, I worked in several areas around the state, most recently in Brainerd, MN for four and half years.  I have worked on a wide varierty of cases including family law, criminal law, child protection, civil cases, guardianship/conservatorship, gun rights restorations, etc.. Outside of practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. When we aren't running around or playing with the kids, I enjoy outdoor activities and sports.

Jaya Balani was a partner with the NeJame Law Firm and recently branched out to start Balani Law.  Born and raised in the Orlando area. Ms. Balani earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Florida and later went on to earn her law degree from Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando. Ms. Balani began her legal career as a Legal Intern with NeJame Law, a position she held during her last two years of law school.. Kerrisa Chelkowski's law office is located in San Antonio, Texas. She is a former Bexar County Assistance District Attorney. At the Bexar County DA's office Kerrisa was assigned to the appellate and trial divisions of the office. During her time in the appellate division she handled over 30 cases including death penalty appeals. Within her first year at the office she handled Stewart v. State, a significant DWI case which found itself to the Court of Criminal Appeals. Kerrisa argued that case to the Court of Criminal Appeals in front of a packed house of more than 400 spectators with successful results. Kerrisa also argued numerous times in front of the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio, Texas.. During her time in the trial division Kerrisa tried many cases to juries and to judges of various courts. Kerrisa left the office in 2004 and started her own practice.
