I practice mainly in the Middle Peninsula/NorthernNeck region of Virginia. The Firm currently has three locations, Gloucester, Hampton, and Newport News, Virginia. I am fortunate to have two very capable Associates on my staff whom I have worked with for years.. The legal profession is my second career and I like to think that I bring a "real life" perspective in my representation of my clients. Committed to serving others, our founder and managing partner, Mrs. Pierre-Louis served as a Prosecutor in Palm Beach County, Florida for the 15th Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office. While at the State Attorney's Office, she gained experience prosecuting a variety of cases, such as misdemeanor DUI, theft, and traffic criminal. She also prosecuted felony cases such as burglaries, robberies, and attempted murder cases. Prior to working for the 15th Judicial Circuit, Mrs. Pierre-Louis interned for the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Florida State Attorney's Office working in their misdemeanor and juvenile courtrooms. She has extensive trial experience and enjoys writing and arguing motions before the court.While attending law school at Shepard Broad Law Center, Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL, Mrs. Pierre-Louis was an executive board member of the Moot Court Honors Society, junior editor of The International Law Student's Association Journal of International and Comparative Law, and lastly a member of Black Law Student Association. Prior to attending law school Mrs. Pierre-Louis, had a passion for helping people and demonstrated that through working for Morris Law Group, a Wealth and Asset Preservation firm, as a legal assistant, where she gained experience in preparing Wills, Trusts, Healthcare Derivatives, etc. Mrs. Pierre-Louis also assisted in business formation where she generated articles of incorporation and other documents for the firm's business clients.  She later worked for Brenman Immigration Law Firm as a legal secretary, where she prepared applications for naturalization, fiancé visas, H1-B visas, O visas, U-visas and P-visas. Mrs. Pierre-Louis aslo translated documents from Spanish to English and conducted client interviews in Spanish.

Colombian native Carmen Tankersley shares a Brazilian heritage and experienced childhood in four different countries. After graduating high school in Sao Paulo, Brazil, she moved to Florida, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 2007. Carmen earned her Juris Doctor in 2011 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Carmen is a trilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese) attorney with a unique background, passionate about the legal profession. She has a strong desire for justice and works aggressively towards reaching her clients’ goals.

Daniel Schubert is a fearless litigator and relentless advocate for his clients. I am a second generation Puerto Rican who has lived in Connecticut all his life. At a young age, I wanted to always help people and strive to do so today with my legal practice. My faith in God and my legal career run together, both of which I use to try and support those who have no support, and care for those who no one cares about. I am a member of Greater Bridgeport Christian Fellowship and have been under the tutelage of Pastor Frank Cook and Pastor Eric Torres for some time. My professional life is solely focused on criminal defense and helping people stay out of jail, get out of jail, or clearing their criminal records for a better future. My dedication to my work is only trumped by my dedication to my faith and my family.. Personally, I am a normal 26 year old man who enjoys being with family, friends, and just being nice all around. My main goal in life is to come to a place where my faith and profession intersect and I am able to do both at the same time. I am also endeavouring to become better versed in civil law and other areas of the law to help others in the future.

While in law school I was the President of the Trial Team where I spent time traveling the nation competing against the nation's future top litigators. After law school I worked as a law clerk for the First Judicial Circuit which consists of six judges. I'm a Colorado native born and bred in the San Luis Valley.  I enjoy travelling, shooting, spending time with my family, learning anything new and exciting, the thrill of courtroom combat, and serving my clients and their cases.  I focus on criminal defense, dui/dmv cases, and respondent parent representation (representing parents who are involved in department of social services for various reasons.)
