Cynthia Umstead a graduate of Birmingham School of Law, admits the stress of a criminal trial can be overwhelming at times . There is a lot of pressure, bit the key is caring about your client and having empathy for them. You also have to be willing to invest hundreds of hours in preparation. It is time consuming, but when you see someone get that second chance, it's priceless. This truly is my passion.
