Harassment from neighbor

Looking for any advice. We had a neighbor move in about 3 years ago. A few months back they decided to file false reports with animal control against us (they were proven false and documented by animal control wasn’t even our animal)They trespassed onto our property placing things then removing them off our porch the same night they pointed their vehicle at the back of our home and flashed the lights repeatedly then played loud music to get us outside. Then the threatening messages, facebook posts slandering us and yelling at us across the property started. We sought advice and filed police reports. We were told to respond to the messages and state “do not contact me” and put up “no trespassing signs”. We did all that but she has kept going from videoing us over our hedges into our backyard when we are by our garage, yelling and cussing at us, threatening to come over, plays vulgar music when our kids go outside. Today was the final straw while in a public store she decided to scream “whore” then tell me that if i went outside she would call the cops on me or worse. We haven’t had any contact whatsoever in over 5 months per police advice. I am desperate for her to leave us alone. It’s not only affecting our kids but my mental health (ptsd). The neighbor has a history of harassment charges and has been arrested for it. Is there anything we can do legally to make her stop ? Ignoring doesn’t work she just keeps getting worse. As said above it is affecting me mentally and has scared my kids to the point they will not go outside to play. Location: Alabama
