I am a Fox Valley attorney that focuses primarily on criminal partner and I believe everyone deserves to be heard. People are complex and varied and it's important for me as a lawyer to understand how who you are plays into whatever happened so I can show that to the State and to the Court. Prior to attending law school I was a Sign Langage interpreter. This allowed me learn how much culture and personal history can play a role in what we say and how we act. The exposure to people from all walks of life has been invaluable to me as I constantly work to avoid presumptions of my clients or fellow lawyers. I will work to make sure we understand each other, never assuming that we are saying the same thing because we are using similar words. I began my criminal law career at the Miami County Attorney’s Office under Elizabeth Sweeney-Reeder. During my time as a prosecutor I worked in Juvenile, Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor Traffic, Misdemeanor Crimes, Field and Game, DUI, and Felony Failure to Register cases. This broad spectrum allowed me to gain great knowledge of criminal law. After leaving the County Attorney's Office in December of 2017, I then went to work for Cameron & Herrman, P.A, a very well-known firm in Wichita, Kansas. I work zealously to defend the rights of my clients in Criminal, Traffic, DUI, and Family Law.
