I have been a practicing attorney in Kentucky for over 37 years, most of which was as a prosecutor in the County Attorney's office.  My experience is in the area of criminal law and family law as a prosecutor, so that is also what I practice as a private attorney.. My goal is to help you resolve your case/situation.  Attendant to this goal is my desire to help you not repeat behaviors that have caused some trouble in the past.. I have a cat named Bubba, and I love to do needlework of various kinds.  I have taught lots of people how to knit, crochet, cross-stitch and needlepoint, and find much enjoyment in doing so.  I also work crossword and sudoku puzzles, and play the piano.  Most of all I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I am a solo practitioner in Louisville, Kentucky, and represent clients throughout the state. I completed my undergraduate studies in South Carolina before moving back to Kentucky, where I received my J.D. at the University of Louisville. I have extensive experience in criminal defense (from petty misdemeanors to class A felonies), which includes serving as lead or sole counsel in felony jury trials where my clients were acquitted on all charges. I also have experience in family law, personal injury law, estate law, and other general practice areas. I am a fourth generation attorney continuing the family tradition of practicing law.
