She received her J.D. from the University of Colorado in 2018 after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 2000.

While I am not a native to Colorado. I love this state and consider it my home. I grew up in Kansas the daughter of farmer and a homemaker. Not withstanding all the Wizard of Oz jokes I have to hear-it was a pretty good way to grow-up, and a good way to learn a strong work ethic. I came to Colorado immediately after law school, only wanting to practice in this state that I always loved visiting and vacationing growing up.. I practiced criminal law exclusively my first three years. Handling thousands of cases from misdemeanors to felony murder. I gained a lot of trial experience during these years. I then turned my attention to family law and have handled both family law and criminal law cases since.. When I am not practicing law. I love all out-door activies such as running, skiing, hiking, and walking my dog!

I grew up in Wyoming and eventually left country life for big city life for law school in San Diego, California. My love for the outdoors and physical activity brought me to Colorado where I enjoy spending my free time hiking, fly fishing, traveling and anything outdoors. I love new adventures that keep my life exciting.
