Jeremy Pruitt was born and raised in Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky. Jeremy attended and graduated from Calloway County High School. Jeremy is excited to return to his hometown of Murray and bring his big city firm experience and resources back to Murray to serve the people of Murray and Western Kentucky. At the same time, Jeremy attended college at Murray State University where he graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Political Science. After graduation, Jeremy attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree.. While in law school, Jeremy completed two (2) extensive summer internships with the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy’s Newport, Kentucky trial office where is assisted in defending adult and juvenile clients in criminal cases. In August 2016 Jeremy began working for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky law firm of Gatlin Voelker as a law clerk where he gained extensive experience by assisting attorneys in multiple areas of practice including business law, complex litigation, insurance litigation, municipality law, criminal law, family law, estate planning and probate, appellate practice, and more. Jeremy was an attorney at Gatlin Voelker for a short period before returning to Murray to establish his own practice.. Jeremy is married to his wife, Laiken, and they have one child, Luke. Jeremy, Laiken, and Luke reside in Murray, Kentucky. Jeremy enjoys spending time with family, golfing, fishing, and attending/watching UK and Murray State sporting events.
