I care about my clients.  When a client thanks me at the end of their case, it makes me feel like I did a good job and that my client is happy.  This is why I am an attorney.. I focus on family law and personal injury: divorce, child support, visitation and custody;  car accidents and slip and falls.  My office also does real estate closings and wills and probate work.. Dionne E. Choyce has acquired a great reputation for being a passionate and hardworking trial attorney. His courtroom development began at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he helped lead the McGeorge trial competition team to a Regional Championship in the American Trial Lawyers Association Competition (ATLA). After graduating from law school, Mr. Choyce went to work for the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office (Oakland, CA), where he gained extensive courtroom experience prosecuting all phases of criminal cases, including jury trials, felony preliminary hearings, juvenile felony trials, as well as misdemeanor and felony law and motion hearings. Mr. Choyce has handled hundreds of traffic and DUI cases, and has mastered the art of skillful negotiation and plea-bargaining in this area, which allow his clients to receive the best possible outcome. As a former prosecutor in one of California’s toughest jurisdictions, Mr. Choyce understands how to evaluate a criminal trial case, and will vigorously represent his clients to possibly get criminal charges reduced or dismissed. Attorney Michael E. Golub provides legal counsel to residents of central Florida in the areas of family law, bankruptcy, and criminal defense. Michael LaFay Trial Attorney graduated from the American University Law School in Washington, D.C. in 1983. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1984 and the Florida Bar in 1985. Michael LaFay is board certified in Criminal Law by the Florida Bar and has achieved an "AV" rating overall, which is the highest ranking bestowed by Martindale-Hubbell, the national attorney ranking service. He has practiced in Central Florida as a trial attorney for the past 27 years and has litigated over 300 jury trials. Scot D. Goldberg. A founding member of the firm, Scot D. Goldberg is a Fort Myers native and member of the Lee County Bar Association, the Lee County Personal Injury Association, the Florida Bar, the Federal Bar Association, the Federal Court of the Middle and Northern Districts, the Florida Justice Association (formerly known as the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers), The American Association for Justice (formerly known as The Association of Trial Lawyers of America); the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America; and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. In conjunction with his work at the State Attorney’s Office, he received certification in Juvenile Justice and Delinquency from the U.S. Department of Justice. He later became an associate at the law firm of Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A. Mr. Goldberg was selected for Who’s Who in American Law, 2000/2001.  In July 2000, Scot became one of the four founding members of the firm.
