I was born in Houston, Texas and have lived in the surrounding areas my whole life. I went to Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown and attended the University of Texas at Austin for my undergraduate studies. I graduated with a degree in Communication Studies-Human Relations. I immediately started attending South Texas College of Law and graduated a semester early in December 2009. I took and passed the February 2010 Bar and was licensed to practice law May 5, 2010..
