My name is Alexander Hermanowski, and I’m a criminal defense, estate planning, and personal injury attorney.  Before becoming an attorney I was a financial advisor and planner helping people plan their financial future.  It is there where my passion to help people grew.  As a financial advisor and planner during the financial crisis, I saw how people’s lives could change quickly.  It is there that I decided I could better help people as an attorney.. After deciding to pursue a career helping people, as an attorney, I left my job and attended law school in Michigan.  There I was very active in mock trial and moot court.  I earned the high grade and a Certificate of Merit in Advanced Writing, which many people consider the most difficult course in law school.  I also volunteered for a local attorney and practiced law as a student attorney with the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s office under the supervision of an Assistant Public Defender..
