I was born and raised on the North Shore of Kaua'i and I graduated from Kapa'a High School in 2000.  I completed my undergraduate studies at Boston University where I received my B.S. in Mass Communication in 2004.  I received my law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, CA, in 2012, and I am licensed to practice law in both California and Hawai'i.. My legal education focused primarily on social justice issues and human rights.  I love working with kids and I'm passionate about juvenile justice as well.  I also spent 3 years working as a Public Defender at the Lihu'e Courthouse where I had the privilege of working with some of the most amazing clients & talented attorneys in the world.. These cases revolve around unresolved, ongoing conflict between parents.
