Mr. Hilyard joined The Gallagher Law Firm after serving as the judicial law clerk for Ingham County Probate Court Chief Judge Hon. Richard J. Garcia and Hon. R. George Economy.  Mr. Hilyard received his juris doctor, cum laude, from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2013 as a member of the William Johnson Class.  While in law school Mr. Hilyard received several awards for academic achievement and leadership, including multiple Certificates of Merit.. Mr. Hilyard, a native of Western New York, is an avid sports fan of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Mets.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Hilyard enjoyed success in the rodeo arena as a bull rider.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children.

After graduation, Ms. Urbon engaged in a professional career in New York City while continuing her advocacy on behalf of victims of domestic violence through volunteer work as a legal intern with Sanctuary for Families.. After graduating from law school, Ms. Urbon chose to focus her career on family law, specializing in child abuse and neglect cases. While pursuing a private practice, she worked as a volunteer attorney with the Washtenaw County Office of the Public Defender Juvenile Abuse and Neglect section, before accepting a staff attorney position with the Detroit Center for Family Advocacy in 2013. In this role, and later as Executive Director of the Center, Ms. Urbon advocated on behalf of parents and caregivers facing legal issues that impacted a child’s entry into, or exit from, the foster care system. In 2018, Ms. Urbon accepted a position as the Director of Legal Advocacy and Prevention with The New Foster Care whose mission was to make a transformative change in the Michigan child protection system. Ms. Urbon was promoted to Executive Director in 2021, and lead the agency through the implementation of a direct service program targeted at assisting youth who aged out of foster to transition to successful adulthood. Ms. Urbon returned to the practice of law in 2024, incorporating Urbon Law, PLLC.

Lindsay Dangl has been employed by Murphy & Spagnuolo, P.C. since January 2008, first as a clerk, then as an associate. Ms. Dangl has experience with various legal issues including family law, workers’ compensation, insurance and indemnity law, municipal law, and civil litigation. Ms. Dangl received her undergraduate degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University and her Juris Doctor from the Michigan State University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude.  She also received a Certification in Child and Family Advocacy from the Michigan State College of Law Chance at Childhood Clinic..
