Ms. Nora E. Baker is an associate attorney at O’Brien & Associates Law Firm, P.C. Ms. Baker received her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School with a concentration in Family Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2022. Ms. Baker was admitted to the NYS bar in January of 2023.. Ms. Baker graduated Magna Cum Laude from Merrimack College in 2018 receiving a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish and a double minor in Political Science and Pre-law. While attending Merrimack College, Ms. Baker studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and later participated in a spiritual retreat to Ecuador to advance her Spanish speaking ability.. During her time at Albany Law School, Ms. Baker was active in the Anthony V. Cardona ‘70 Moot Court Program, both as a participant and student coach. Ms. Baker won both the Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Competition and the Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials Competition. Her team was noted as only the second team in recent history to win both competitions, and the first female team ever to do so.. In 2022, Ms. Baker was inducted into the Order of Barristers and awarded the Edward F. Layden, Esq. and the Kathryn I. Layden Award for her participation and contribution to the moot court program. She continues to show her support for the Moot Court Program through alumni judging opportunities.. After interning in various venues which include the Appellate Division Third Department for the Honorable Christine M. Justin P. Schafer graduated from Villanova University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications.  Mr. Schafer earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Barry University Andreas School of Law in 2008, where he was an elected S.B.A. Senator for two consecutive years and received The S.B.A. Graduate of the Year Award.Mr. Schafer currently serves as a Board Member of the Seminole County Young Lawyers Division where he runs a sponsorship event for the VITA program volunteers at Barry University Andreas School of Law each year during tax season.  Mr. Schafer is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Schafer has participated in assisting people in need through his volunteer work at the Orange County Legal Aid Society along with his time spent as a Guardian Ad Litem in Orange County.  His volunteer work includes such programs as the Orange County Legal Aid Society Intake Program and the Haitian TPS project, which assisted Haitian nationals in seeking relief to prevent deportation to Haiti following the 2010 earthquake.  Mr. Schafer was selected by the Board of Trustees of the Legal Aid Society to receive the 2011 Pro Bono Project Award of Excellence for his work in the Community Education Project. Mr. Schafer is admitted to practice in the State of Florida as well as the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

I am a 2014 graduate of PUCPR Law School. I passed the Puerto Rico Law Bar Exam (100 Percentile) and Puerto Rico Notary Bar Exam in September 2014. I was admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico by the Supreme Court on February 20, 2015. Recently I moved to Winter Springs, Florida to pursue a career as an attorney.I passed the July 2015 Florida Bar Exam. I was admitted to the Florida Bar on September 2015. On November 5, 2015, I was admitted to the US Middle District of Florida.. I've been working as an Associate Attorney for Carmona Law, PA since November 2015.. I'm also a Florida Notary Public (Commission expires 1/15/2019).
