Jon V. Steele is proud to be a public servant. After 20 years with the New Orleans Police Department, he retired after sustaining a work-related injury. He then entered Loyola University’s College of Law where during his final year he was a Law Clerk for the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office. After graduation, he assisted a young attorney in establishing a family law practice where he handled nearly all of the firm's protective orders, civil injunctions, and adversarial child custody cases. Jon is now building his own family law practice and is also expanding into criminal defense to help you or your loved one navigate the maze of the criminal judicial system.. I am a product of divorced parents and a split family household. My parents were divorced when I was 12 years old, with both my mother and father later remarrying. Both of my stepparents had children of their own from prior marriages, who became part of my family. As a result, I have experienced firsthand the emotional and financial challenges of divorce and family law issues and seek to help my client navigate the often confusing legal complexities family law litigation can pose..
